This fridge was included in a condo purchase last year. All has been well except for the ice maker. Three times it has defrosted, spilled over and refrozen, which left big chunks of ice in the bin. So I had to carefully remove the bin and let the ice melt on the counter. In the meantime, I scraped off the little ice falls stuck to the inside walls of the freezer. At first, I thought this issue corresponded to my use of the oven, which is butted up against the fridge. However, the other 2 times, I wasn't baking. I tested the door seal, which is good, but haven't tried any other troubleshooting or repairs. I have not had any problems with the finish denting or scratching as other reviewers have mentioned. The filter change reminder is also a nice feature.

I may end up replacing this with a basic apartment-size fridge. Other than the ice maker issue, the LG works fine. But based on this experience my new one will be a different brand.
